Encephalon
for E
the imaginary machine continues
refusing to believe it will arrive
to the desolate lands of someone
who asked them to come home
the imaginary machine awaits
someone in the unclear liquid lobby
perusing through pages of reason
unable to find the word “desire” anywhere
the imaginary machine foresees
the sun, failing someone
and their summers, no longer
toasting onomatopoeias of silence
